STREPTOCOCCUS PYOGENES

  • gram postive .spherical shape (cocci).
  • GABHS(GROUP A BETA HEMOLYTIC STEPTOCOCCUS)
S.pyogenes known as GABHS cause it  produces large zones of beta-hemolysis (the complete disruption of erythrocytes and the release of hemoglobin) when cultured on blood agar plates
